1: why does the water kept in earthen pot(matka)become cool during summer?
Ans:- There are some pores in earthen pot through which liquid inside the pot evaporates. This evaporation make water cool.
2:- Why does our palm feel cold when we at some acetone or petrol or perfume on it?
Ans:-we put some Acetone or petrol or perfume on our palm we feel cool it is because the particle of petrol get energy from our surrounding and evaporates causing to Palm to feel cool.
3:-Why are we able to sip hot tea or milk faster from a saucer rather than a cup?
Ans:-A liquid has a large surface area in saucer than in a Cup. Thus it evaporates faster and faster in a saucer than a cup. For this reason we are able to sip hot tea or milk faster from a saucer rather than a cup.
4:- Why does a desert cooler cool better on a hot dry day?
Ans:-Desert cooler cool better on a hot dry day because on a hot dry day. The temperature is high and it is less humidity which enable better evaporation. Higher level of evaporation provide better cooling effect.
5:-Why do we see water droplets on the outer surface of a glass containing Ice cold water?
Ans:-It is because the water vapour present in a air on coming in contact with cold glass water lose energy and gets changed into liquid state which we see as water droplets.
